You know that shoot of my kids I mentioned...

Not my favorite, but I do like that it shows how long her hair has gotten.

Well, I did try. Just not very successful at it. I hit Cassidy up first, bribing her with ice cream. She was all over that...until I asked her to wear some new boot-shoe thingies. She loved them, but didn't want or like the feel of her jeans tucked into them. (She's ultra aware of how every little piece of clothing feels). And of course the jeans had to be tucked in to show the shoes. I asked her, begged her, pleaded with her to just wear them like that for a few shots. She was not in agreement and so I told her to just forget the ice cream and the pictures (hey, I was trying reverse psychology). Next, I moved on to Drew. He heard the words ice cream and was ready to do anything mom asked. Only, a 2.5 year old doesn't really know how to pose. Meanwhile, Cassidy slithered out the door to where we were and jumped into the action (that reverse psychology really works)! I got a few, but Cassidy's smiles are so forced these days. Even the old tricks for getting a genuine smile haven't been working anymore. So, I'll have to try again soon.

I love them all, esp the dof... But that first shot gives off a feeling of a 70's flowerchild.. in a good way... She just give off a peaceful, simple aura, with her innocent look!~ I love it!

I know all about forced smiles. ;) I think these are great, however, and the first one is my favorite!
