Nervous...in a good way

If it's a challenge to take pictures of a 2-yr-old then how about add in a twin to that 2-yr-old and a 5-month-old sibling. I really was a little nervous but also excited to see what I could get for this family. As soon as I met them though I knew it was not going to be too bad. There are those families that seem like they have it all together (mom might disagree) but in my eyes they were an amazing example of a Christian family that exhibited patience, fun and kindness throughout the session with their children. The kids were so animated and gorgeous. I truly had a blast hanging out with them for the evening. Here's some of what we got:

Their little one really is laughing in this one although it's hard to tell.

Ms. P

Here's a quick little session of Ms. Penelope who is getting quite big. Love the picture with her new little pouty look.

2 Beauties

I just had to let Cassidy tag along for this photo shoot. They mentioned that they were going to bring their Yorkie and Cassidy has always wanted a Yorkie so I knew that she'd love to go. But when I met the gorgeous senior that was there to do pictures and her dog, Addison, I think I was more excited than anyone. Her dog is absolutely adorable. I could just envision the pictures. More than once they were probably ready to get on with it and I was still popping off ideas that included Little Miss Royal Highness...she is just THAT cute (and get a load of her bow).

Her owner was not too shabby herself. Just a little drop-dead gorgeous:) And because they both need to shine I had to include a gallery for each of them. Hope you enjoy!

Hi, I'm Addison. Aren't I cute?

What do you mean this is for your senior pictures?

And now here's some that we actually took without her pup.

And she loves yellow...one of my favorite colors. We had to incorporate the bright yellow wall.

Handsome

This little guy was so adorable. He was not in a bad mood at all but he wasn't giving up very many smiles. His poor parents tried everything imaginable and we were able to get a few.

I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend! When we were driving home tonight my 3-yr-old (Drew) asked why there were flags all around town and I said that it was for Memorial Day. He said "And Memorial Night?" Yes, that's right buddy I guess if there is a Memorial Day then there must be a Memorial Night too. I hope that all of the military members and their families know how much we appreciate them and all that they sacrifice and do for our country.

Wow.Just.Wow

I just got through reading THIS and am stunned. Totally amazing...take the time to look through the entries (I think there's 38 or so) you won't regret it!

This is a friend and former co-worker of mine and her super-fun cut-up of a family. She's wanted some pictures for quite a while and it's just never happened. Now, her son is graduating and we knew that the family dynamics may change after that and we'd better get on with the photo shoot. (I did actually threaten to just show up at her house to get it done)!

They were so much fun. I know that she probably wants a more traditional pose for show but more than anything I wanted to be able to give her memories of their interaction...what it's like to have your oldest almost grown and your younger being a tween...how they tease each other and play. In fact, we had to get onto dad quite a few times for disruption! Haven't come across that before:) Don't worry Cindy, I have quite a few "normal" poses but I really hope that you like these that I've chosen for your sneak peek. I had a blast!

Check out her feet. She's pretty clever.

2 things are sure

about this little one. First, she has the most gorgeous blue eyes, and second, she is the smallest yet speediest little girl ever! A couple of times I had to just stop in my tracks and laugh because she outwitted me the entire time. I would try and head her off or get at the end of the play structure where *I thought* she would "slide down" or "head that way" and I was never right. I should have thought these things and then done the opposite. Then I might have been right...right? Nah, probably not!

An outnumbered Mom

This mom is definitely outnumbered by all of the boys in the house. I know she was stressing with the short time span that we had to work with because of her youngest one's bedtime and mentioned that she would be happy if just one picture came out. I hope you're not disappointed:)
