Posing...

came naturally to this senior. Her mom and cousin were along for the photoshoot and they kept me laughing while they gave her good-natured heckles the whole time. At one point I asked her if she was spoiled since she was the baby of the family and her reply went something like this:
"You could say I'm kind of spoiled, but really, we all like to work for what we have". I was most impressed. You've done a great job with your daughter Dee Anna. I hope you all enjoy the sneak peek!

This one was inspired by my friend and awesome photographer Megan

Hometown Senior

She's graduating from the same high school that I went to eeeooonnnsss ago. Same colors, but so much has changed. Having just met her and only working with her for a short time I could really see some amazing qualities shining through. I know she's going to have a super-successful future at college and I was immediately drawn to the sensitive soul that she has(she's an animal lover like me and that's always a plus). I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Here's one of her little sister...

Another Adorable Senior

I love when seniors have their own ideas for posing. This brown-eyed beauty helped me come up with a lot of fun poses that are actually some of my favorites from the group. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek Miss N.

College Senior

First let me say that she thinks she can't take a good picture...um, ok that's definitely not true! Second, I've never been on a photoshoot where there's been so many vehicles driving by that decided they need to honk or whistle (and it wasn't because of me). And third, she had me cracking up the entire time. She uses some verbage that I either had never heard or don't hear much. In fact, she said that she didn't see any fugly pictures on my site. I've heard the word before but never in association with my pictures. So I told her to please let me know if she does because I most certainly don't want fugly pictures on there. Ha! She's 6 feet tall, and I'm pretty sure that people must tell her she needs to be a model on a daily basis(even though she denied this I don't believe her:) Enjoy your sneak peek R. I hope you did great on that last final.

Summer Special!!!

If you've been thinking about a shoot, considering scheduling something, well then this is for you! If you book a photoshoot in the months of June, July, or August you'll automatically earn a free 8x10 and a desktop storyboard (a $60 value). Just email me or give me a call and we can discuss available dates:)

I've lived in the Houston area all of my life but had never gone to this exact side of town before. I was really impressed; it's so pretty, new-looking, green. So if I have any readers in the Cinco Ranch area...N i c e! I know that the mother of the kids in these pictures was really stressed with trying to get them to all cooperate at the same time. Her son was stoic in the beginning and then when he had warmed up, her 2-year-old was done. I tried to reassure her that anytime you add more than one kid to the mix (heck, even one kid can be hard) it gets difficult. I had the same problem with my own kids at the pumpkin patch last year! Anyway, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Picking Strawberries

A friend and I decided to take the kids to pick strawberries last week. I just love this place. It's a local farm that has fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, homemade pies, jams, etc....Every thing is priced so reasonable too!

One giant, gorgeous oak tree in the middle of the strawberry patch. (Hey Robin, does this one work?)

Here's the farm dog that greeted us and followed us into the field. He was so friendly.

Here's Cassidy running to the fields. She was so excited. (She kind of looks one-legged here)

We kept telling Drew to help pick some strawberries. He kept looking and looking but never would. But wait...

Searching out the perfect one.

I think he may actually pick a strawberry.

Finally! He picked one. But you want to know what the little stinker did next? HUMMED the strawberry as far as he could!

Look at the skies; it was about to pour!

Can you believe that it was only $10 for 2 of the buckets?

I'm not sure what Miss Emma was pouting about but she perked up as soon as we told her we were going to go pick out homemade pies. Love the pose though!
