House Photo Shoot
We decided to do this family photo shoot at their home which is nice because it makes the pictures more personable to their life. Their daughter loves knock-knock jokes and thinking back it cracks me up because we were coming up with some of the craziest jokes to keep her attention. They didn't have to make sense...that's the beauty of it because I certainly wasn't able to change camera settings and come up with jokes that made sense at the same time.

2009 Calendar Gift & family shoot
I'm in love with this calendar. I had one printed just to see what it looks like in person and it's adorable. You pick your favorite 13 pictures from your photo shoot and I'll design the calendar and have it printed and ready to go in the frame. These are great for Christmas gifts!(Grandparents would LOVE these) Just switch out each month to a new picture in the stand-up frame or add these to a 5x7 album and give it as a gift...really cute! These sell for $50.

This nice family knew exactly what they wanted...the couch in the field. Makes it easy on me and I love that. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Location, location. location
If only I had their property for pictures all the time. It's a dream. Lots of big trees, wildflowers, horses in the background, pool/landscaping, etc.... And because of Hurricane Ike there were still some downed trees that their family got to hang out on for some pictures. My daughter, Mackenzie, used to be on the same softball team as their oldest daughter. Their daughter was just starting out pitching and since then has become quite the pitcher so naturally we had to grab a couple of her in her jacket.
Hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek:)

Smitten
Meet the newest member of our family, Cozmo, who already has several nicknames: Coz-mo mo mo, Cosmopolitan, Cosmosis, Heathen, Kramer, and little stinker. He's our 7-week-old baby that is keeping me up at night and terrorizing our older, more cranky animals. Within hours the entire family was smitten. So charming is he that when we went to introduce him to my parents they decided to go snatch up the only remaining puppy, his brother, Charlie. These are the same people that said something to the effect of "We're done having dogs. No more animals for us, etc..." The funny thing is that when we went to pick out our pup between the 2 that were left we made our choice and as we were leaving I said "I hope we picked the right one." And then added, "Oh, well, we'll never know." And now that my parents took the other one we do know. Cozmo is potty training better. Charlie is sleeping much better. Cozmo doesn't bite as hard, Charlie's teeth will kill you. Cozmo will let you know when he wants to go outside, Charlie hasn't gotten that yet. Cozmo has his days and nights mixed up (hee hee), Charlie sleeps wonderfully. Yup, it's just like they say...it's like having a newborn. But we're loving it! And I finally have someone that will pose for me:)

Of course it's Charlie that's being the bad one. (HaHa, just kidding mom)

I'm on a roll.................
I'm so behind on everything! I'm trying to knock out some sneak peeks that I know people are waiting on. Tomorrow I'll add some more and then I'll have some good time to work the next couple of days and I hope to get more caught up on proofs.
I loved hanging out with this family...fun kids, a dad who was taking them on a little off-road joyride when I drove up, and plenty of laughs. I can only imagine what the dinner table is like on Thanksgiving for this group of cut-ups:) I hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek.
