Not too much to say right now because I'm in full work mode while everyone is at school (at least for the next 1 1/5 hours). Both of these kids were pretty easy-going for the photo shoot, but one of them was definitely a poser, model, cut-up...which is always entertaining for me. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek guys!
These 2 are going to be married next spring. Don't they look adorable together? They are obviously so in love and with every pose they were just natural with each other.
I think she's so gorgeous; you can tell he adores her, too.
We borrowed a bird that a lady had in the park. This picture was a first for me...and most definitely for Michael:)
I'm going to break this photo session into 2 parts because we did engagement and family/kid shots. I had only talked to Marian a few times on the phone before we met in person. We met up for our photo shoot that was to take place in downtown Houston and immediately just clicked. My husband had tagged along for a couple of reasons...1) because you can never have enough people in your group for some of the areas we were venturing into and 2) since the kids were at Nana & Papa's we thought it was a good time to go eat/shop in town after the shoot. We ended up having such a blast with them. It seemed like we had known them forever and we've decided that we're going to hang out again and get all of our kids together. I really hope you like the sneak peek of the family pictures:)
This turned out to be a pretty quick little shoot. Indoor shoots are always harder for me; it's definitely more of a challenge to keep a toddler in one small set-up area than it is to follow them around and get candid shots so once we had some family shots where every person was looking (hopefully smiling, too) we called it a day. Hope you enjoy the small sneak peek.
If anyone is checking for their sneak peeks I'll have some more up later today:)
You know, those times when your kids are doing things that challenge you to the core. And if your mother were a fly on the wall she'd have a huge grin because that's JUST WHAT YOU were like when you were little. This very conversation came up at this photo shoot with one of my favorite families. Little Miss Ana was giving us a run for the money. She's faster than lightning, wouldn't give us a smile for anything, and refused to keep a hat on. I think everything in the book was tried and we were all getting a wee bit tired. I remember something about asking Ana's grandmother if Ana's mother was like that when she was little. And sure enough, she said that Ana's mom walked at like 8 (maybe 9 months, can't remember exactly) and was always on the go, go, go! That's when it all became clear...paybacks are being given. So at least she comes by it naturally:)
my brain has so many things it wants to type and talk about but unfortunately my body is just too tired. I did actually try and get in a workout today and you know it's been a while when you sign in with your code and it says to see a fitness coordinator to reactivate your account. Oops, has it been that long? I was so good up until August and then I really became a full-fledged slacker. I'm hoping if I can start a routine again that my energy level can soar and get me through til January gets here. Wish me luck:)
These girls are back from a year ago and wow, has the little one gotten bigger. She's definitely the boss - or thinks she is - and it was too funny watching her try to run things. Her older sister was sweet as can be trying to help out. I hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek.
Not too long ago we did maternity pics of mom and now this sweet little peanut was able to be the star of the show. She's quite petite yet packed with power. There were a couple of poses that we wanted to try that a lot of newborns just kind of flop over when we position them...but not Ms. Brooke. She posed like a little pro. Hope you like them guys!
